MUNICIPAI__ELECTRIC_LIGHTING & POWER PLANT
OF THE CITY OF RIlIMOND. INDIANA.
The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, serving as a
Committee in charge of the operation of the Municipal Elecrtic Lighting
and Power Plant of said City , met in the office of the Board of Works
Monday Novembert6th, 1944, at S:30 ovclock P. .M. -- Messrs. Brehm,
Cartwright, Hibberd, Haman Kinder, Marino, Russell, Tracy and Wilkins
being present the following proceedings were had to-wit;
The minutes of the preceding meeting were read and approved.
Mr. Stevens reported a new peak load of 18,400 k. w. had been established
at the plant which was 200 k. w. higher than the pevious peak load of 1944.
A report was presented to the 'Committee which stated ground would be broken soon
soon to begin the construction of the new Cooling Tower at the Light Plant.
After allowing claims in the amount of $47,250.19 on proper motion the
Committee adjourned.
