MEETING OF THE COMMON COUNCIL SERVING AS A
COMMITTEE IN CHARGE OP THE OPERATION OF THE
MUNICIPAL ELECTRIC LIGHTING & POWER PLANT
OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA.
The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, serving as •a
Committee in charge of the operation of the Municipal Electric Lighting
and Power Plant of said. City met in the office of the d3, y,,.Li.gh -?'iant
Monday, August 21st, 1911.4, at 6:30 o'clock P. M. Messrs. R.yehm, Cartwright,
Hibberd, Homan , Kinder, Marino, Russell, Tracy &-4-14.-1k4Fis being present the
following proceedings were had to-wit;
• The reading of the minutes of the previous meeting was dispensed with
as the Committee held their meeting in the office at the Light Plant with
Mr. Stevens & Keisker being present.
• A motion was presented by Mr, Tracy, with a second by Marino to amend
Light Plant Transfer Ordinance to read $300,000.00 instead of $200,000.00.
To be transfered on or after January 1st, l9l5 , in amounts desiganted by the
City Controller. Votes being as follows; Ayes, Tracy, Marino , Kinder & Russell
Nays; Homan,Cartwright & Hibberd
A motion by tarcy second by Kinder , to transfer $50,000.00 from the
General Mind Cash to General Fund Cash Reserve was carried unanimously,
Stevens asked if there were any ouestions on the July Monthly report.
Motion by Cartwright second by Kinder that bills be allowed and passed
for payee , in the amount of $50,91 .344.
