The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, me$ in regular session at the office of said Board, on Friday March let, 1907, Ali the members of said Board being present: Messrs, Merrill. O'Neal and Johnson. The following proceedings were had, to -wit: The Board met to hear remonstrances from persons interested in the assesc;ment of benefits and damages assessed on account of the opening and extension of an alley from S. W. "E" strect to the south line of tract No. 200 Official Lap City of Richmond, thence west to S. We tad street, after such consideration, the Board being fully advised in the premises, confirms a final assessment roll in said matter. The Board unanimously adopts Improvement Resolution No. 93-1907, Providing for the construction of a cement curb and gutter on South 17th street, from Main to South "A" streets. A petition was presented for the improveneir,t of the alley between South 9th and loth streets from South "C" stre �t to a point about 340 feet south. Same was referred to the Engineer for pland and estimate. Declaratory RCsolution No 17, was again considered and final action Postponed until Larch 6th, 1907. No. 15-1 The assessment roll in the matter of Decaratory Resolution was cone' sidered and final action postponed until march 61 1907. The Board did then adjourn. The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Board on Wedreaday, March 6th, 1907, at 10 O'Clock A. 116 Losers, Merrill and O'Neal being present: Mr. Johnson being absent on account of illness. the following proceedings were had, to -wit: - The attention of the Board was called to the fact that the Telephone companies were placing poles in 10 foot alleys, and also to the bad condition of North "E" street at the Railroad store and in front of the Arlington Hotel, these mat -,era were taken under advisement. The contract for the improvement of the alley between North 20th and 21st streets, by grading, graveling and bouldering and construction of three brick center gutter thereiE, from North "C" street to North "E" street, as provided for by Imp- rovement Resolution No. 87-1907, was awarded to Henry Nolte, at and for the price of 67 cents per lineal foot in accordance with the bid so made by him.
