Friday March 22nd, 1907.
The Board of Public ►olks of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met
in regular session at the Office of said Board, on Friday, uareh
22n.1, 1907, at 10 O�Clock A. M. All the members of said Board be,
present. Messrs, Merril;. O'Neal and Johnson. The followingpro
ee^dings were had, to -wit*-
The resignation of August He Schneider as a member of the Fire
Department, was received, and on notion of dr. Johnson, same
was accepted, and Carl Wadman, appointed to that position,
The Board unanimously approves a prima Facie assessanent on
acco=t of the construction of a sanitary sewer in the alley
between South 15th and 16th stre•�ts, from South 'B" street to
South 916 street.
Bids were received for the construction of orossealks as follows:
Bid of, Daniel G. Burkhardt:-
Vitrifled Brick, per eq foot, lb cents
New couldering, per sq foot, .05 cry
Re -boulder, per eq foot, .�3,1,2 cants.
Cement crosswalks per aq foot, 17 cents.
Cament Curb and gutter per lin foot, 74 cents•

perpetual right to drain the surface water from the north park
place in said city into a certain private sewer constructed by

lddition to said City of Rlchr_ond, and thence running northward
%ad emptying into the South •A' strut sewer: and whereas, this
said private sewer is not sufficient to properly drain said water

ped and clogged with various refuse from said North Park Place or
street: and whereas, in consideration of the above rights granted
by said Wefel and Meerhoff to said City, by said agreement, the
said City agreed to pay the assessnents levied against said lots
503. 65 and 66 for the construction of a lateral sewer in the
alley in the rear of said lots:- Now in consideration of the di-
verting of said ;eater by thd'Clty; from said private sewer into
said lateral or public sewer in the rear of said lots Nos. 05 and
66, the said Gerhard He wefel and Harmon He Meerhoff and said City
of Richmond :.ereby ogre : to cancel said agreerent, and the same
