MEETING OF THE COMMON COUNCIL ,SERVING AS A
COMMITTEE I„ CHARGE OF THE OPERATION OF THE
MUNICIPAL ELECTRIC LIGHTING AND POWER PLANT
OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA.
The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, serving as a
Committee in charge of the operation of the Municipal Electric Lighting
and Power Plant of said City, met in the office of the Board of Works,
Monday, March 20th, 1944, at g:30 o'clock P. M. -- Messrs. Brehm, Cart-
wright, Hibberd, Homan, Marino, Russell, Tracy and Wilkins being present
the following proceedings were had to-wit;
, The minutes of the preceding meeting_Wer&read and'approved.
A letter was presented to the Committee from the Board of Trustees
of, the Reid Memorial Hospital expressing great appreciation to the
City Council for the contibution of Electric Current to the Hospital
in the amount of $3,600.00 for the year 1944.

Mr, Stevens presented a general report on Plant operation and etc.
After allowing claims in the amount of $56,200.0g on proper motion
the Committee adjourned.
