The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Board Friday June 14th, 1907, at 10 O'Cloc$ A. M. All the members of said Board being present. The following proceedings were had, to -wit: The Board meets to hear remonstrances, if any, of persons primarily assessed on account of the vacation of an alley between South 20th and 21st streets, from South "A" street North to the first alley running East and West, as provided for by Declaratory Resolution NO, 23-1907, After hearing all persons interested who appeared, the Board approves a final assessment roll, confirming in all things, the original assess- ment roll as heretofore approved. Said assessment roll is further ordered transmitted forthwith to the Department of Finance. The Board unanimously adopts Improvement Resolution N0. 121- 1907, for the improvement of North "E" street by the constr- uction of cement sidewalk along the south side of said street between North 8th and 9th streets. A petition was presented for the construction of a sanitarY sewer in the alley between South 4th and 5th streets from Main street to the first alley south. Same was taken under advisement. Pursuant to postponement, the Board again considers the matter of the improvement of the first alley south of South "B" street by the construction of a cement roadway therein from South Sth street to South 6th street as authorized by Improver.Int Resolution No, II.P,1907. After hearing all persons who appeared, the Board decides that the benefits accruing to the property liable to be assessed for said improvement are equal to the estimated cost of -the same as estimated by the City civil Engineer, and thereupon takes final action on said resolution for as originally adopted, modifying the same so as to provide the Orading, Graveling and Bouldering of the roadway* The Board did then JO VRQ. , Pros of Board. Mr. Charles Engineer acting as Clerk pro tam: the following proceedings were had, to —wit: — Bids were received for the construction of the improvement of North "A" street by the construction of cement curbs and gutters on both sides thereof, from North 7th street to North 16th street, as provided for by Improvement Resolution NO, 113-1907, as follows: - Daniel 0. Burkhardt bid for straight curb and gutter, .69 cents per lineal foot. For circular curb and gutters, $1.10 per lineal foot. For cement crosswalks, .70 cents per lineal foot. For straight gutter only, .33 cents per lineal foot. For alley and sidewalk intersections, &13 cents er square ft. For straight inlet and connections with P Trap, j20.00 each. ?Or 12" sewer pipe laid, $1,10 per lineal foot. John F. Cronin, bid for straight curb and gutter .70 cents per lineal foot. For gutter only, .40 cents per lineal foot. For circular curb and gutter, $1.00 per lineal foot. For 5 foot crosswalk 80 cents per lineal foot.
