The Board of Public Works of the City of Richunond, Indiana,
net in regular session at the office of said Board on Friday
June 21st, 1907, at 10 O'Clock A. M.- Messrs 1lerrill and John,so-
being present.
Pursuant to postponement the Board again considers the matter of
the improvement of South 5th strut from South 'K' to ■LI Ste,
and postpones final action indefinitely.

The Board of Public Works Of the City of Richmond Indiana
met in regular senalon at the Office of said Board, Weclnes-
day June 26th, 1907, at 10 O'Clock A. M. All the members of
said Board Messrs, Merrill. O'Neal and Johnson being present.
The follow�ng proceedings were had, to-wit:-
Thd communication from Mr. Enaelbert, member of Jouncil
calling attention to the need of a fence at the South 5tc
street dump near C. C. & L. viaduct. And bad condition of
South 'K' street from South 9th strp3t to Liberty Avenue
was taken under advisement.
A petition was filed signed by the Star^ Piano Company for
the improve;-uent of South 1st street from Main street to old
tail race of said Company, by Grading and ytacadamizing of
roadway and the construction of cement curbs and gutters and
cement walks and storm sewer, and was taken under advisement.
A petition vas filed signed by, Carolins M. Reeves and others
praying that a fire hydrant be located at the intersection
Of south 16th and °E' stref:ts. Same was taken under advise-
ment.
The petition from the Mail Carriers of the City, asking that
a clause be inserted in all street car franchises in then
future, providing that Mail carriers be carried frs taken
