City of Richmond, Indiana,
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
met in regular session. at the office of said Board on Frlda
July 12th, 10.07,. at 10 O'clock A. 11, All the members of said
Board, Messrs, Merril:. O'Neal and Johnson being present, The
following proceedings were had, to -wit:-
The Board meets to fear remonstrances, if any, of persons phi_
marily assessed on account of the improvement of the alley rz-
ning North and South between South 9th and loth streets, by the
Grading, Graveling and Bouldering of the roadway and the constr-
uction of a three brick center gutter therein from South •C°
street south.340 feet, as provided for by Improvement Resolu-
tion NO. 94-1907.After hearing all persons interested who appear-
ed, the Board approves a final as=esement roll, confirming in
all things, the original assessment roll as heretofore approved,
and said assessment roll is ordered transmitted forthwith to
the Department of Finance, Messrs Merrill and Johnson voting in
the affirmative, Mr, O'Neal voting in the negative.
Pursuant to postponement, the Board meets to hear all persons
interested or whose property is affected by the improvement of
North, "E" street, by the paving of the roadway, and the constr-
uction of ce:ent sidewalks and cement curbs and gutters as pro-
vided for by Improvement Resolution N0, 125-1907. After hearing
all persons interested who appeared, and being frilly advised in
the premises, the Board decides that the benefits to property
liable to be asaes2ed for said improvement are equal to the est-
it•:ated cost of the same as reported by the City Civil Engineer,
and thereupon takes final action on said Resolution as origi-
nally adopted, the same being confirmed without modification,
The Board unanimously adopts Improvement Resolution N0, 127'
1907, for the improvement of South First street by the con-
struction of cement sidewklk cement curbs and gutters and
storm sewer from lfain street to the Starr Piano Company fao-
tory,
The Board awards contract for the improvement of the first al,-,
