We All the members of said Board, Messrs, Merrill. O'Neal and Johnson, being present: The following proceedings were had, to -wit:. The attention of the Board was called to the hedge fence on City property located at the intersection of West 7th and Nat- ional Avenue. " The attention of the Board was called to the following matters referred to the Board by the Common Council:- Gutter at the inter section of South 5th and "D" streets: Liberty Avenue and South "K" streets: Telegraph pole at 22.3 South 6th street: Telephone Pole in rear of property of "Cheno:veth" near South "A" street between South 8th and 9th streets: Olaims amounting to, $1224.76 were approved and ordered paid. A Petition was presented for the Opening og North Fourth street, from North "A" street to Main street, signed by Rose Pryor and others, Same was taken under advisement, The Board decides adverse in the matter of the construction of cement roadxay in the alley first south of 111i.n street from South 13th to 14th streets, as petitiond for July llth, 1907. A Petition was presented for the Opening of an alley from the North side of Tract 527 to the south side of Tract 5289 thence east to south 22nd street. Same was taken under advisement. The City Civil Engineer reported the Completion of the improve- ment of South 16th street by the construction of cement curbs and gutters on both sides thereof from Main street to South "A" street, as provided for by I. rovement Resolution IdO, 91-1907. John F, Cronin, Contractor, The Board accepts same and orders assesament roll prepared, The City Civil Engineer reported the completion of the imi'rovo- ment of South 15th street by the construction of a cement side- ivalk on the west side thereof, from South "C" street to South 'DO street as provided for by Improvement Resolution NO. 96- 1907, John H, A, Schneider, Contractor. The Board accepts same and orders assessment roll prepared. I. M. Hnnghes, in rotor" as on North 9th stre''t• A coi:,municatlon was received from, Rev, to the construction of cement sidewalks 89me was read and placed on file, The Board did tb Attes adjourn• i Office of Board of Public Woria, City of Richmond, Indiana, Friday July 19th, 1907, The Board oi' Public Works of the .City of Richi ond, Indiana inregular session at the office of said , met Board on Friday, July 19th, 1907, at 10 O'Clock A. 14, All the members of said Board, proceedingsMerrill,O'Neal hadeato- itJohnson, being present, The oilovring The Board meets to hear remonstrances if any, from persons inter- ested or whose property is liable to be assessed for the improve- ment of South 13th street by the construction of a cement side- walk on the East side thereof from South "E" street to South "I" street as provided for by .Improvement Resolution NO. 12¢-1907, Ifter hearing all persons who appeared, and being fully advised in the premises, the Board decides that the benefits to property liable to be assessed for said Improvement would equal ob exceed the estimated cost of same as appears from a report thereon made by the City Civil Engineer, thereupon the Board takes final action a said Resolution, modifying the same so as to provide that said 13rovement shall terminate at .the North line of Lot 5 East Oakv land Addition owned by Mary Flanagan, The original Resolution as modified was then unanimously confirmed, Bids were received for the construction of the improvement pro- vided for by Inprove^nent Resolution N0. 123-1907."The construc- tion of cement sidewalks on both sides of South 12th street from Yaln street to South "E" street° as follows:- BOGts & Gant, bid 77 cents per lineal foot. Ramsey & Davis bid 80.5 per lineal foot. John F,, Cronin bid, 80 cents per lineal foot. De111e1 G, Durkhardt bid 82 cants per lineal foot. John He A. Schneider bid, 8o cents per lineal foot. Tine Board awards contract for said work to, Boots &Gant• I Petition was presented for the construction of a sanitary sewer for territory between Main and South "B" streets and 13t and.3rd streets, The same was taken under advisement.
