HomeMy Public PortalAbout07-26-1907378 FI Office of Board of Public Worka, City of Richmond, Indlana, Wednesday July 24th, 1907, The City Civil Engineer reports the Completion of the improvement of the alley between Kinsey and West Pearl stree by Grading, Graveling and Bould�ring from West 4th street to West 5th strer-t as provided for by Improvement Resolution N0, IOS-1907, The'Roard takes same under advipement, The Board decides to refer V-P matter of the improvement of North "E" street as provided for by Improvement Resolu- tion NC. 125-19079 to the Common Council for their action at the n zt meeting thereof, on account of same having been remonstrated against auecessfuJly, The Board did then adjourn, Pres t B. P W, Attest Clerk of Board, Office of Board of Public Works, City of Richmond, Indiana, Friday July 26th, 1907, The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, In -liana, met in regular session at the office of said Board, Friday July 26th, 1907, at 10 O'clock A. V. All the members of said Board being present, viz: Messrs, marrill, O'Neal and Johnson, The following proceedings were had, to -wit:- A communication was received from the West Richmond Improvement Association having reference to the construction of certain improvements on the West Side, (West Second street viaduct and sewers far Fairview and West Richmond) Same was read and placed on file. The Board meets to hear all persons interested or whose property is affected by the following described public improvements: IYPROVDIENT RESOLUTION N0, I27-1907, For the improvement of South First etre9t, by macadamizing of the roadway and the Grading and construction of a cement sidewalk Four (4) feet wide and cement curb and gutter on the Last side, and cement curb and gutter on the West side, and construction of a storm sewer from Lain street to the North line of the North Brick Building of the Starr Piano Company, after hearing all persons who appeared and being fully advised in the premises, the Board decides that the benefits to property liable to be assessed for said improvements are equal to the estimated oust of the same as reported by the City Civil lrmgineer, and thereupon takes final action on said Resolution as originally adopted, the same being confirmed with- out modification, The Board meets to hear remonstrances, if any, of persons pri- marlly assessed on account ofb the improvement of North 12th street by the construction of cement sidewalks and cement curbs and gutters thereon on both sides thereof from Vain street to North "E" street as provided for by Improvement Resolution the N0, 76--1906, After hearing all persons interested who apn°idihings the original Board 9assessment s a final aroll ads heretoforenappi�ed• vAY A Petition was received for the improvement of Soutcurbs an°°t, d by the construction of cement sidewalks and cement f° South guttl,re on both sides thereof from South 2nd stre�t was lath street, On motion of llr, O'Neal' same 10008 °d on file to be taken up for action Friday Januar"rdf The Board accepts improvement provided for by lmpregeso- lutlon NO, 103-i907, Lind orders assessment roll prepared* The Board did then adjourn' l
