MEETING OF THE COMMON COUNCIL,SERVING AS A
COMMITTEE IN CHARGE OP THE_OPERATION. OP THE
MUNICIPAL ELECTRIC..LIGH'INff & POWER PLANT
OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND,INDIANA.
The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, serving as a
Committee in charge of the operation of the Municipal Electeic Lighting
and Power Plant of the said City , met in the office of the Board of
Works , Monday, January 3rd, 1943, at 8: 30 o°clock P. M. -- Messrs.
Cartwright, Hibberd, Homan, Kinder, Marino, Russell, Tracy and Wilkins
being present the following proceedings were had to-wit;
The reading of the minutes of the previous meeting was dispensed
with.
The report on generation for the month Of December ,19)+3, showed
an increase of 14+ 9/10 over the same period of the previous year.
The total increase for the year 194+3 showed an increse on generation
of 17 3/10 over the year of 1942.
Mr. Stevens reported repairs for the 10,000 k. w. generator had
been arranged for,probably be in around the first of February and it
would take about ten days for the installation therefore,be ready for
operation about March 1st, 1943.
Mr. Stevens also reported material for the installation of the
interconnection system would arrive soon add he expected that to be
in operation by the last of the month.
After allowing the claims which had been approved by Mr. Homan
for the last period in December ,1943, the Committee adjourned@ said
sum being in the amount of $17,688.27.
