The Board of Public forks of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of the Board on Wed_ nesday August 21st, 1907, at 10 O'clock A. M. All the members of the Board being present:- Messrs, Mcrrill. O'Neal and John- son. The following proceedings were had, to -wit: - The communication from Mr. Leftwick, in reference to Charges made by the -Water Works Company for lead pipe 1n making tape, and of Mr. Bartel, lnreference, to contractors destroying the grass plots where cement sidewalks are being constructed, were taken under advisement. The Lngineer reported the completion of the improvement of North 210 street by the construction of cement sidewalks along a part of the south side thereof from North 8th street to North 9th street, as provided for by Improvement Resolution N0O, 121- 1907. Also the improvement of the first alley south of Main street by the construction of a cement roadway therein from South 9th street to the first alley west, as provided for by Improvement Resolution NO, 116-1907, The Board accepts same and orders assessment rolls prepared, The Board did then adjourn. _F Pres't, Attest Clerk of Board, Office of Boar'l of public Works, City of Richmond, Indiana, Friday August 23rd, 1907. The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmoni, Indiana, met in regular session at tfe of''lce of Said Board August 23rd, 1907, at 10 O'Clock A. M. All the membersofSaid Board being present, Messrs, Merrill. O'Neal and John- son. The i'ollowing procn,,dinge were had to -wit: - Bids were received for the construction of the improve*ant of South let street by the construction of cement sidewalks curbs and gutters and storm sewer and macadamizing street as provided for by Improvement Resolution No. 127-1907, as follows: - John H. A. Schneider, bid $3.67 for serer and $4.17 for street, John N. Cronin bid $3,5C for sewer and 44.35 for street. The Board unanimously awards the contract for this work to John F. A. Schneider. The Board approves Primary assessment roils in the matter of the improvement of North •a° street by the construction of cement sidewalks on a part of the south side thereof between North 8th and 9th streets, as provided for by Ieprovement Resolution NO. 121, and also in the matter of the improve- ment of the first alley south of Main street by the construc- tion of a cement roadway therein from SOutf 9t.. street to the first alley west, an provided for by Improvement Resolution No. 116-1907.
