COMMITTEE IN CHARGE OF THE OPERATION_ OP THE MUNICIPAL ELECTRIC LIGHTING & POWER PLANT OF THE ,CITY OF RICHMOND,INDIANA. The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, serving as a Committee in charge of the operation of the Municipal Electric Lighting and Power Plant of the said City, met in the office of the Board of Works,, Monday, December 6th, 1943, at $:30 o'clock P. M. -- Messrs. . Brehm, Cartwright, Hibberd, Homan, Kinder, Marino , Russell, Tracy and Wilkins beingpresent the following proceedings were had to-wit; The .reading of the minutes of the preceding meeting was dispensed with. The report on Gross Generation for the month of November showed an increase of lg.9.percent over the same period for the year 1942. Mr. Stevens stated the matter of Xmas Packages or the contents of had been discussed with the Board but no definite decision had been made. Mr. Stevens .reported they were trying to arrange at the Plant for the storage of Indiana-Coal without firing if possible. A bill was presented to the Committee for the payment of the Xmas Bards ordered by the Mayor,from VanZant & Warfel to be sent to the boys in the armed service of the U. S. Government and after some discussion on the matter the Clerk called the roll on the approval or rejection and the vote was recorded as follows; .Ayes, Bahr, Cart- wright, Homan, Kinder and Russell, ;1Nayes; Hibberd, -Marino, Tracy and'Wilkins; With a:sufficient'number -of.votes being .in the affirmative the payment:-of- the bill, was approved and ordered payed from the Light Plant Funds, the said action was taken on a motion by Russell with a second by Homaa9 -in the -amount of $254.50 After allowing claims in the amount of $42,306.09 on proper motion the Committee adjourned. 4,)& Presic}lent � Attest* 0 City Cler
