The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, serving as a
Commi tte.e in charge of the operation of the Municipal Electric Lighting
& Power Plant of the said City, .met in the office of the Board. of Works
Monday, September 20th, 103, at gc30 o'clock A. M. --Messrs. Brehm,
Cartwri -it, Hi.bberd, Homan, Kinder, Marino, Russell, Tracy and Wilkins
being present the following proceedings were had to-wit;
Th reading of the minutes of the preceding meeting was-dispensed
wi.th.
Mr. Stevens discussed with members of Council the matter of advei•--
tising in the local ne,,craper in compliance with the Federal program
for the conservation of elrctricity. which would result in the saving of.
Fuel.
A report was also presented to Council by Mr. Stevens in .regard.
to a trio to Washington relating to suroli.es and eouipment for the
Controll System of the inner-connection Service.
After allowing claims in the amount of •$40,3711-29 on proper motion
the Committee adjourned.
