MEETING OF THE COMMON COUNCIL,SER1TING AS A
• COMMITTEE IN CHARGE OF THE OPERATION Or THE
MUNICIPAL ELECTRIC LIGHTING & POWER PLANT
OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA
The. Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, serving as
a Committee in charge of the operation of the Municipal Electric Light-
ing & Power Plant of the said City met in the office of the Board of
Works , Monday, August 16th, 1913,. at S:30 P. M. Messrs. Brehm, Hibberd,
Homan, Tinder, Marino, Russell, Tracy & Wilkins being present the follow
ing or.oceedings were had. to-wit;
The reading of the minutes of the preceding meeting was dispensed
•
with;
Monday, August 16th, 1943 , being the date designated by Council
for the receiving of bids for scram metal accumulated at the Light Plant,
bids being cs follows;

A. sealed. envelope was received from Korelove Co. Dayton, Ohio .
but no bid was received.
The bids were' referred to Council as whole- and they recommended that
the Corner Wire be sold to Holeanfel Cc. per. their' bid and the lead be
'sold to Sam Jaffe Cc. the ..§a.l.e' of both- metals being referred to Mr. Stevens
in compliance with Federal Regulations.
IIIMr. Stevens presented- nrinted. copies of suggestions proposed by the
Federal Department for the benefit of local consumers of Light & Power,
in the matter of conserving the same, thus assisting in less transportation
of -Fuel & etc.
After allowing claims in the amount of $4+6,679.13 Council adjourned.
