MEETING OF THE COMMON COUNCIL,SERVING AS A
COMMITTEE IX CHARGE Or .THE.OPERATION OF THE
MUNICIPAL ELECTRIC LIGHTING AND POWER PLANT
_OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND,- INDI NA.
The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indina, serving as a
Committee in charge of the operationof the Municipal Electric Lighting
and Power Plant of the said City , met in the office of the Board of
Works . Monday, July, 9th, 1943, at t 3() o'clock P.. M. Messrs. Brehm ,
Cartwright, Hibberd, Homan Kinder, Marino, Russell, Tracy and. Wilkins
being present the foll,oeing proceedings were had to-wit;
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
The report on generation given by Mr, Stevens showed an increase
for the month of Jtine,24.1'3 per cent over the same period of 19.2.
Mr. Stevens gave a report on the progress of the inter-connection
system now being installed,
Mr. Kinder discussed with other members of Council and Light Plant
Superintendent Stevens the matter of extra pay for men leaving the employee
of the Light Plant for the Service of the Armed Forces of the United. States,
the same was taken under further advisement.
After allowing claims in the amount of $29,626.95 on proper motion
they adjourned.
