MEETING OF THE COMMON COUNCIL,SERVING AS A
COMMITTEE IN CHARGE OF THE OPERATION OF THE
MUNICIPAL ELECTRIC LIGHTING & POTER PLANT
OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA.
The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, serving as a
Committee in charge of the operation of the Municipal Electric Lighting
and Power Plant of the said City , met in the office of the Board of
Works, Monday, January lgth, 194+3 at g:3O o'clock P. M. Messrs. Cart-
wright, Hibberd., Homan, Kinder, Marino, Russell, Tracy & Wilkins being
present the following proceedings were had to-wit;
The minutes of the preceding meeting were read and approved .
On the recommendation of Mr. Stevens,Council approved the re-newel
of a cantarct with thw Westinghouse Electric Co. for furnishing the
Transformers for the Light Plant, the present contract expiring Jan-
uary 23rd, 1943.
Mr. Stevens presented each member of Council with a report on the
revenue, of the Light Plant and explained various expenditures showing
in the report, for the year 1942.
After allowing claims in the amount of $47,583. 80 on proper motion
they adjourned.
