Regular meeting of the Torm counci]_ ;
Mayor Ross presiding and councilmen W Haack, H P Kruse,
Geo Lindaman, H L Luwe and Neil Okones present—
IVliriutes of last meeting were read and on motion by Okones second
by Kruse approved as read- carried.
A report from the State University regarding a sample test made of
our drinking water, showing that same was satisfactory caas read,
and ordered placed or. file.

A report from the State Iiispectop, regarding � Seser Disposal plant
was received, read and. ordered pl�.ced on file .
NIr Claus�,en salesman for the Coek Pump was present at the meeting
and asked the council to cons�dEr a proposition regarding a compromise
settlement on tl� New ti'Ve1.1 Pump that was lately installed in the old
well.
The Iowa T.4achinery anal Supply Co.of Des Moines, who installed the
pump are admitting that the Pump does not come up to capacity
out -put as specified in contract, however they are willing to place
the pump up to specifications, or if agreeable with the council,
will accept a discount from the p�zrchase price for the Pump.
After due and deliberate considerations, the ccuncil feeling
that the present pump,as set up,is giving maximum service as far
as is required for the Towns purpose, therefor it was moved by H L Luwe
seconded by Okones, that a settlement be offered for a discount of
�100.00 from the contract, or that the Company place the Pump up
to capacity as per contract- motion carried..
Treasurers report was received, read and. placed on file.
It was moved by Luwe second by Lindaman that a new Battery be
purchased for the Dire Truck- motion carried.
It was ,moved by Luwe seconded by Haack that th Firemen and P�iarshall_
inspect all chimneys and stove pipes within the Fire zone vaithin the
next week- motion carried.
On motion by Lindaman second by Kruse that the following bills be

( The Cook Pump above rei'erred to, has been tested throughly
by the Town and the Company that sold it, and it was found that
the best capacity produced was around 35 to 36 gallons per
minute, however it was bought to produce 40 gallons per minute)
