OF THE MUNICIPAL ELECTRIC .LIGHTING & POWER PLANT OP THE CITY .OF RICHMOND, INDIANA. The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, serving as a Committee in cha±ge of the operation of the Municipal Electric Lighting & Power Plant of the said City, met in the office of the Board of Works Monday, November 2nd,1942, at g:30 o'clock P. M. Messrs. Beeson, Cartwright, Haas, Hibberd, Homan,Huff, Kinder, Tracy & Wilkins being present the foll- owing proceedings were had tpwit; The minutes of the preceding meeting were read and approved. A report presented by Mr. Stevens showed an increase in generation for October in comparison with the same period for last year. The matte' of disposing of a portion of ground in C. W. Starr Add. lot No. 11 to John H. Harrington was referred to the City Attorney for a report later. On a motion by Kinder with a second by Cartwright the Council serving as a Committee authorized the sale of Scrap Copper with proper advertising for bids designating the date when bid will be received for same. The matter of donating free electric current for Xmas lighting along Main Street during the Hollidays was taken under advisement. Council unanimously authorized the sale of a lot in Bealview Addition a part of Light Plant property without accumulated interest for the amount of principal invested inthe same. After allowing claims in the amount of $ 62,659.40 on proper motion they adjourned. Attest• Presiders' City Cler (
