MEETING OF THE COMMON COUNCIL , SERVING AS A
COMMITTEE IN CHARGE OP TEE .OPERATION. OF THE •
MUNICIPAL ELECTRIC.LIGHTING & POWER PLANT
OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA.
The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, serving as a
Committee in charge of the operation of the Municipal Electric Light-
ing and Power Plant of the said City, met in the office of the Board
of Works Monday, October 19th, 1942,at S 30 o'clock P. M. Messrs.
Beeson, Cartwright, Haas, Hibberd, Homan, Kinder, Tracy and Wilkins
being present the following proceedings were had to-wit; .
III The minutes of the preceding meeting were read and approved.
On the recommendation of Mr. Stevens .Council approved the Transfer
of of $30,000,00 from the General Fund of the Municipal Electric Light-
. ing and Power Plant to the,Depreciation Reserve Fund cash.
Mr. Stevens presented a chart showing the decreased current consump-
tion.during the Blachout test,stating the load immediately picked up as the
water heaters came on.
After allowing claims in the amount of $42,379.20 on proper
motion they adjourned.
