COMMITTEE IN CHARGE OF THE OPERATION OF
THE MUNICIPAL ELECTRIC LIGHTING & PO ER
PLANT OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INTDIANA.
• The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana,serving
as a committee in charge of the operation of the Municipal Elect-
ric Lighting and Power Plant of the said City, met in the office of
the Board of Works, Monday, April 2uth,1912, at 8:30 o'clock P. M.
Messrs. Beeson, Chambers, Hibberd, Homan , Kinder, Tracy. and
' Wilkins being present the following proceedings were had to-wit; •
The minutes of the preceding meeting were read and.approveda
Mr. Stevens stated the American Gas and Electric Company had
not presented a report on the interconnection proposal with the
local Plant,
• Mr, Stevens also stated it would not be necessary to adver-
tise for bids on material according to rules adopted for emergency
use.
After some discussion on matters pertaining to the purchase
•__ of material, Mr. Homan moved.. that Mr, Stevens be authorized tc 'zse
his judgment on the -purchase of transformers.ai3dother :material o
(, The=to-tion was second by Hibberd and unanimously approved.
After allowing claims in the amount of $4O895.96 on proper
motion they adjourned.
