City of Richmond, Indiana,
Friday September 13th, 1907,
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
met in regular session at the office of said Board, Friday
September 13th, 19070 at 10 O'clock A. M. All the members
of said Board being present, Messrs, Merrill, O'Neal and
Johnson, the following proceedings were had., to -wit: -
The Board approves Primar assessment rolls in the matter of
the Improvement of the alley between South 7th and 8th streets
by Grading, Graveling and Bouldering from South "H" street
to South "J" street as provided for by Improvement Resolution
N0. 115-1907, and the improvement of the first alley south of
South "B"•street by Grading, Graveling and Bouldering from
South 5th street to South 6th street as provided for by Imp-
rpvement Resolution NO, 318-1907.
The Board meets to hear remonstrances, if any, from persons
primarily assessed on account of the improvement of South 9th
street by the construction of cement sidewalks on both sides
thereof from Main street to South "E" street and cement curbs
and gutters on both sides thereof from South "B" street to
South "E" street as provided for by Improvement Resolution
110. 105-1907. After hearing all persons wgo appeared, the
Board approves a final assessment roll,
confirming in all
things the original assessment roll as heretofore approved,
and orders same transmitted forthwith to the Department of
Finance.
A petition was presented asking that when North loth street
is improved, that the curb be made two feet narrower from Lain
street to North "E" street, signed by George Miller and others
same was approved by the Board.

said Boyer street 14 feet in width and running from John to
Sherman street as provided for byDeclaratory Resolution N0,
25-1907, After hearing all those who appeared, the Board apProa
ves a final assessment roll, confirming in all things the
original assessment roll as heretofore approved and orders
same filed forthwith with the Department of Finance.
The City Civil Engineer reports the completion of the fro
v^meet of North 14th street by the construction of cement
sidewalks end cement curbs and gutters on both sides thereof

Improvement Resolution N0, 102-1907, ti:e Board accepts
same and orders an asqessment roll prepared,
The Board unanimously adopts Improvement Resolution N0, 128-
1907, for the Improvement of the first alley East of North
8th street running North and South between North 8th and 9th
streets by the construction of a cement roadway to the full
width thereof from North "A" street to Sailor street.
The Board did then adjourn,
