The Board of Public Works of the City of Richrond, Indiana, net in regular session at the office of said Board on Wed- nesday September 18th, 19079 at 10 O'Clock A. He All the members of said Board, Messrs, Merrill. O'Neal and Johnson being present. The following proceedings were had, to -wit:. The Board meets to hear remonstrances, if any, from persons primarily assessed on account of the opening of an alley beginning at a point in the St. corner of tract NO, 526 of the Official Map of the City of Richmond, Indiana, which is 155 feet East of the East line of South 21st street: thence running south to the south of tract NO, 528 of the Official Map City of Richmond, thence running East along the south line of said tract 528 to South 22nd street: thence North 14 feet? thence West 150 feet: thence in a Northwesterly direction 7 feet thence North to the Southwest corner of Lot NO, 10 :1 Druley's Addition: thence Best 20 feet to the place of beginning, The alley running North and South to be 20 feet in width,and the alley running East and West to be 14 feet in width, as provided for by Declaratory Resolution NO. 26-1907. After hearing all those who appeared, (Hdamzul C. Hasemier apFear- ing) Herman C. Hasemier remobstrating on account of the amount of damages awarded him, the Board proceeds to consider said remonstrance, after such consideration the Board modifies said assessment rill, by raising the assessment of damages in the case of said Hasemier, a25,00" The Board then approves a final assessment roll in said matter confirming the ori- ginal assessment roll as modified and orders the same trans- mitted forthwith to the Department of Finance, The communication of Mr. Deuker, member of the Common Council calling attention to the dangerous condition of the crossing Of the C, C, A L. R. R. atl� North .3rd and C streets, and also the building on Ft. Wayne Avenue owned by William H. Alford were taken under advisement by the Board. The Board meets to hear remonstrances if anY, from persons primarily assessed on account of the remonstrances, of North 'B' street by the construction of cement sidewalks on the a Side thereof from the first alley East of North 9t11 Street to North llth street and on the North side thereof from the first alley East of North llth street to North 12th street, as provided for by Improvement Resolution N0, 109-1eA the After hearing all those who appeared, (No one appeajall Board approves a final assessment roll, confirming in Office of Board of public works, City of Richmond, Indiana, Wednesday September 18th, 1907, things the original assessment roll as heretofore approved, and orders same transmitted forthwith to the Department of finance. The Board meets to hear remonstrances, if any, from persons primarily asses aed on account of the improvement Of South 9th stress by the construction of a cement gutter strip on both sides thereof from Main street to South ■A' street as pro- vided for by Improvement Resolution No. 124-1907. After hear- ing all those who appeared, (No one appeared) the Board approves a final assessment roll, confirming in all things the origi- nal assessment roll as heretofore approved, and orders the same transmitted forthwith to the Department of Finance, The Board approves a prinary assessment roll in the matter of the Improvement of North 14th street, by the construction of oement sidewalks and cement curbs and gutters on both sides thereof from Main street to North "E" street as provided far by Imp- rovement Resolution No. 102-1907. The Enginear presents his final report showing the completion of the improvement of the alley between South 14th and 15th streets, by Grading,' Graveling and Bouldering the roadway therein from South "C" street to South "D" street, as provided for by Improve- ment Resolution No. 104-1907, and also for the improvement of South 6th street by the construction of cel^snt sidewalks and oemdnt curbs and gutters on both sides thereof from main street to South "A" street as provided for by Improvemer.t Resolution FJ. 117-1907, The Board accepts same and orders assessment rolls pre - Dared, Claims amounting to $1347.18 were allowed and ordered paid.
