The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
met in regular session at the office of said Board on Yriduy
September 20th, 19)7, at 10 O'Clock A. M. All the members of
said Board being present, Messrs, Merrill. O'Neal and Johnson.
the following pros --dings were had, to -wit:-
ThP Board arp1'oves and enters into a contract with the Standard
Oil Company for oil for the Light Plant for one year beginning
Oct 1st 1907, and ending October let 1908.
The Claims o= A. E. Brooks and Charles s. Farnham amounting to
$1069.60 were allowed and ordered paid.
The Board aprrovPs Primary assessment rolls in the matter of
tr.e improvement of the alley betweo•n south 14th and 15th streets
from South "C' to "Du streets as provided for by Improvement
Resolution NO. 104-19079 aria for the improvement of South 6th
street by the construction of cement sidewalks and cement curbs
and gutters on both sides' thereof i�rom Main street to South 'A'
street as provided for by Improvement Resolution N0. 117-1907.

The 16ol1ow1nt; proceedings were had, to -wit:-
The Board meets to hear remonstrances, if any, from persons
primarily assea.ned on account of the improvement of the alley
between South 7th and 8th streets from South •H' street to
South "J" street, as provided for by Improvement Resolution No.
115-1907. After hearing all persons who appeared, (No one
appearing) and being fully advised In the premises, the Heard
approves a final assessment roll In said matter, confirming in
all things the prinary assessment roll heretofore ppproved,
and orders same transmitted forthwith with the Department of
Finance.
The Board meets to hear remonstrances, if any, from persona
primarily assessed on account of the improvement of the first
alley south of South "B' street running last and West fr011
South 5th street to South 6th street by Orading, Graveling and
Bouldering, as provided for by Improvement Resolution No. 118-1907.
After hearing all persona who appeared, (No one appearing) and
being full advised In the premises the Board ap: roves a final
