The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
met in regular session at the office of said Board on 'd'ednes-
day October 23rdt 1907, at 10 O'Olock A. If, All the members
of said Board, via, $esers, YerrJll, O'Neal and Johnoon tieing
present, The foiloring proceedings were had, to -wit: -
The Board meets to hear remonstrances, if any, from, persons
Priiarily assessed on account of the improvement of South "Is
street by Grading, Graveling and Bouldering the roadway from
South 6tb. street to Liberty Avenue as provided for by Improvement
P.escluticn NO, lob-190% (F, r. Rod-? and Reuben Bertsch remon-
strating) After hearing all persons who appeared and being fully
advised in the premises, the Board.api..)rovea a final aseesoment
roll in said matter, confirming in all things the original asess-
ment :roll as heretofore approved and orders same transmitted
forthwith to the Department of Finance,
The Board meets to hear all persons interested or whose pro-
perty is affected by reason of the improvement of the alley
between South 13th and 14th streets by Grading, Graveling and
Bouldering and construction of a three brick center gutter
therein from South •D• street to South "Z" street, as provided for
by Improvement Resolution 110, 1.29-1907, After hearing all persons
who appeared and being fully advised in the premises the Board
decides that the benefits to property liable to be assessed for
said improvement could equal or exceed the estimated costs of
the same as shown by a report made by the City Civil Engin"r,
and thereupon Sakes final action on said resolution as originally
adopted the same being confirned without modification,
The Board accepts the following unproven^nts:— The improvement of
North •A° stre=t b the construction of cement curbs and gutters
on both sides thereof from North 7th street to North 16th stre't
as provided for by Improvement Resolution N0, 113-1907:- The
Improvement of South 22nd street from )fain to south A street by
Grading and Graveling the roadwayband construction of cement
Sidewalks and cenont curbs and gutters on both sides thereof as
provided Dor by Improvement Resolution N0. ].22�-1907:-Also the ice"
rovement of tre Last side of outh 13th stye^t by the oonstruo-
tion of cement sidewalks thereon from South •E" street to Lot
5 East Oakland Addition as provided for by Improvement Resolution
N0, 126-1907, and orders assessment rolls prepared•

The Board employs Albert Dickey to extend a serer near Doran
Bridge for the sum of, $28,00,
The Board unanimously adopts Improvement Resolutions for tte
construction of sewers in connection with the improve-x nt of
Northwest Second street n=bered 130-1907, and 131-1907,
The Board Oid then adjourn,
