The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, lndiana,
met. in regular session In the office of said Board on
Wednesday November 20th, 1907. at 10 O'C1ock.A. M. All the
members of said Board, viz, Messrs. Merrill, O'Neal and
Johnson bring present: The following proceedings were had,
to�Fit:-
The Board awards contract for the construction of sewer
known as 'Route N0, 1.' provided for by Improvement Reso.
lution 110, 130--1907, to Philip Hipskind & Sons at and
for the sum named in their bid, to-wit:-$11.700.0O: This
being the only bid received for this work,
Philip Hipskind & Sons bid $13.100.00 for the construction
of sewer knoem as "Route NO, 2.' provided for by Imp-
rove^ieht resolution NO, 131-1907: This bid being above
the estimate final action was deferred until Friday Nov

The following proposition was received from Robert Be
Kera3y;-
Referring to and confirming convdrsation had
at your meeting on Friday Nov, 15th, I would propose
that if you will extend the twenty foot alley now running
through the Lombard � addition in an East and West cOur'e
thirty-five feet ✓t at a width of twenty feet and open
an alley thence to tate street at a width of fourteen
feet and parallel with the East line of the Lombard addition
thus leaving one lot thirty-five feet wide adjoining the
Lombard addition on the East and %7111 award me damage

the opening of said alley in same sum as you assess benefitsto lots eleven, twelve, thirten, fourteen, fifteen, toen, seventeen, eighteen, ninoteen and twenty in Lombard
addition and make no other assessments in any sum against Me
