The Board of Public works of tha City of Richmond, Indiana,
met in regular session at the office of said Board on Friday
November 2:Md 1907 at 10 01016ok A. Me All the mombers of said
Board, via Masers, Morrill. 0111cal and Johnson being present,
the following prooeedings were had, to -wit: -
The Board meets to hear remonstrances, if any from persons
primarily assessed on account of the construction of a sanitary
sewer in the alley between South 6th and 7th streets from South
IIH• street to South •J° street, as provided for by Improve.*rnt
Resoiutioi: No. 101-1907, After hearing all persons who appeared,
(Hersan E. Stein and Carolina Schroeder appearing) The Board
modifies the Prim ^acie assessment roll by reducing the assesa-
wants made against the property of Herman E. Stein and James &
Oliver He riy, and raising the assessments made against the pro-
perty in the name of List and Klein. After such i.iodifieation
the Board approves and adopts a final assessment roll in said
matter, and orders same transmitted forthwith witl: the Department
of Firance,
ThP Board grants permission to the Be Co 0. & Ste Le R. R.
to improve the sidewalk on the North aide of North 'D' street
by paving with either brick or cement under the aupervision of
the City Ci•ril Engine=r,
The Board meets to hear remonstrances, if any, from persons pri'
warily assessed on account of the improvement of Hunt Street,
by the construction of cerient sidewalks on both sides thereof
frpm State to School streets, as provided for by Improvement
Resolution No. 112-1907, After hearing all persons ti7ho appeared,
the Board approves a final assessment roll confirming, in all
things the original aasessment roll as heretofore approved and
orders same transmitted forthwith with the Department of F�nanoe.
The Board. unanimously adopts Declaratory Resolution 140, 20-1907,
Providing for the opening of certain alleys in Lombards Sub -
Division.
The Board reioets the bid of Philip Hipskind for the construction
Of seer kno n as Route NO* 2, an provided for by 1mDroPTtl3C
Resolution No. 151-1907, and orders the Clerk to re-adv,
for bids for said work,
The board did then adjourns
