The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
met in regular session at the office of said Board on Wed-
nesdaY January 22nd, 1908, at 10 O'Clock A, Mi All thA mem-
bers of said Board being present, Messrs, Merx•ill, O'Neal
and Johnson. The folio -sing prosesclings were had, to -wit: -
The Boards attention was called to the bad condition. of
West First street at the intersection of West Main street,
and to switch on C. 0. & L, P., R. near South 5th strut
viaduct being used for the unloading of coal,
A petition was presented for an are light to be located at
the intersection of West Seventh street & Corm:ione road,
Same was taken under advisement,
A Petition was presented for the improvement of North 21st
street by Grading, Graveling and Bouldering the roadway
from North "E" to North "F" streets, The Board orders papers
for same,
The Board did then adjourn,

met in regular session at the ofl'icd of said Board on rrl-
day Jahualy P4th, 19080 at 10 O'Clock A. N, All the members
of said Board being present: Meeere, Merrill, p,Real and
Johnson. The following proce clings "ere had to -wit: -
The Board receives the bid of Philip Nipskind & sons, for
the construction. of the improvement provided for by Improve-
ment Resolution 110, 97-1907, for the: construction of sewer
System and disposal plant for the southwest part of the City,
which bid was ae follows:-

This being the only bid rdeeived the Board taY.es same under
advisement.
The Board receives the following bids for the construction
Of the improvement of North-west Second street by cement
Sidewalks and convent curbs and tters on both Bides thereof,
and Grading and Graveling and X74 Maeadami,ing of the road-
way from Chestnut to Charles strer:ts as provided for by Imp-
rovement Resolution N0, 106-19079 to--rrit:-
Tripper & con Peru Indiana, bid, .ep$130300,06
Orubbins & Garby, New Castle Indiana, bid, ..12.50 per lin ft,
Tie Board awards contract for said above work to, Tripper &
Son of Peru Indiana,
