The following proceedings were had
The Board meeto to hear all persona int,,rentI in the matter
of the assessment of damages and benifito ur account of the
vacation of •Oakland Place; as prc%�•.'_(1e:1. for ny ifeolaratory
Resolution No,29 - 19086 After hearing all those who appeared
and being fully advised in the premises, the Board unanimously
approves a final assessment roll in said matter, confirming; in
all things the original assessment roll heretofore approved
and orders same transnitted forthalth to,the Departnent of
Finance.
Ur Lane Hanager of' the Light Host & Power Co, appeared before th
Board and asked permission to lay a oas pipe in the intersection
of llth and North D street, said r30uest was granted with tic
provision that the street be put back in wood condition under
the supervision of the Superinten,lent of streets.
A Committee from the 'iniaterial Association appeared before
the Board and asked permission to hold religious services in
South 10th street park, and Starr park, under the auspices of
said association, on Sunday afternoons during the Sumner months
beginning June 21st, 19089 the Board grants said request.
A.L.Jenkine appeared babre the Board soliciting liability
Insurance covering Light Plant Employees, the mattar was taken
under advisement,
A petition was presented., signed by T.J.Farguson, to construct
under private contract, a sewer through Lot No 4,Linden Hill
Addition between south 16th and 17th streets, and to connect
with: Linden 11111 Trunk serer in ..^,outh A street, the Board
grants said petition, :Fuld work to be done under the direction
.of the City Civil Engineer,
The Board allows the bill of Thomas 'Sorehead for cleaning
vaults at Glen 'ril,n. ?ark, 80.bb1 at 50�-------$40.00•

The Board awards the Contrast for furnishing crashed stone to the
City of Richmond, for the season of 1908, to the A,& C.Stone & Lir
Co,, of Ridgeville, Indiana, at their bid of 95 cents per cubic
yard, of 2500 pounds, F,O,B. Richmond, Indiana.
The Loard is advised by A,Cordon, Assst Superintendent of the
Terre haute, Indianapolis and Eastern Traction Co, that said
company will donate the Sim of $100,00, account of Band Concerts,
Glen 11111er Park,
The Y.C.C.& at.L,? ail,,vay Company submitted bid of the Pittsburgh
Construction Company, of $9.00 per net ton t'or the erection of
metalwork for the Indianapolis Division and the Richmond Division
bridges over :lorti,-West Second strest, and asked that same be
approved by the Boards of Public 'corks and the City Civil Engineer
