Office of Board of Public Works,
City of Richmond, Indiana,
Wednesday May 27th, 1908,
The Board of Public Yorks or the City Of Richmond, Indiana,
met in regula2 session at the office of said Board on Wednesday
May 27th, 1908, at 10 O'Clock A,II. All the members of said board
being present:Messrs, Staut?ach:, Johnson, and O'Neal.
The following proceedings 7^re had to -wit:-

The Y.E.O.A. were granted permission to tap the Sevier at the
corner of North: 7ti- and A Streets, said work to be. done under
the supervision of the City Civil Engineer, and no charge to be
made therefor.
A petition was presented, signed by John B.I)ougan, to construct
under private contract, a cement walk five (5) feet in width
and 150 feet in length, on North B street, abutting Lot 189
Elizabeth Starrs addition, the Board grants said petition, said
work to be done under the direction of the City Civil Engineer.
The Board approves the Bond and Contract of H.C.Bullerdick & Son
for supplying Coal to the City as per Contract awarded said
firm may 22nd, 1908,
The Board receives bids for the construction of a sanitary sewer,
between South 7th and 8th streets, from just North of South J
street to South L street, as provided for by Improvement
*Oesolution No.134-1908, as follows: -

the above bids being a tie and at the Engineers estimate, on
motion the contract was awarded to John F.Cronin,
The Board receives bids for the extention oi' the Cascade Garden
sewer, as provided for by Improvement Resolution N0.139-19084
as follows: -
Lewis hall Bid $1150,00 Complete.
the Board rejects said bid, and further action on said improve -
rent postponed Indefinitely,
The Board approves a Primary assessment roll in the matter of
the improvement of North 21st streetby grading, feet in
the roadwayand construction of cement sidewalks (5)
cement curbs and gutters on both sfrom
Width and ides thereof,
North9E street to North F street, as provided for by Improve -
meet Resolution No.132-1908.

estimate, on motion the contract was awarded to said Isaac M.Wllcox
at his bid of $349,00 Complete (Iron Roof),
The Board instructs the City Civil Engineer to order certain suppliee
that the City is to furnish in connection with this improvement,
from Foley Mfg Cc Chicago, for which the City is to pay $89,00.
The Board receives bids for the Improvement of North loth street,
from Ifain street to North E street as provided for by Improvement
Resolution No,138-1908, as follows: -
