Friday May 29th, 1908.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
met in regular session at the office of said Board on Friday
May 29th, 1908, at 10 O'Clock A.ii. All the members Of said Board
bean: present:Messrs, Staubach, Johnson, arni O'Neal.
The followin7 proceedings were had to -wit:- j
The Board meets to hear all persons interested or whose property
is affected by the following described public improvement:
Improvement Resolution No.142-1908, providing for the improvement
of the alley between Richmond avenue and Laurel street & Sheridan
and First streets, being first alley east of First street running
North and South, from Laurel street south to first alley running
East and West, thence East to first alley West of Sheridan street,'
by grading, graveling, and bouldering, and 3 brick center, after
hearing all persons interested who appeared, and being fully advie
in the prenises, the Board decides that the benefits to property,
liable to be assessed for said improvement are equal to the
estimated cost of the same as reported by the City Civil Engineer,
and thereupon takes final action on Said resolution as originally
adopted, the same being confirmed by a unanimous vote of the
Board without modification.
The Board did then adjourn.

The following proceedings were had tp_xiLtand 0 Neal,
The City Civil Engineer reported the completion of the Contract
under Improvement Resolution No.135-1908, providing for the
improvement of Louth 16th street, by constructing cement sidewalks
on the WASside from Scuth A street to Sout'.. C street the Board
accepts the same and orders assessment roll prepared.
A petition was presented for the construction of a sanitary sewer
in the alleys between North 17th and 18th streets and North 18th
and 19th streets, from a point about 150 feet NoDth of North E street
North to South line 01' P.C.C.& StL.R.R, same was referred to
Engineer for plans, and resolution ordered,
A petition was presented for the graveling of North 12th street,
from the bridge over White Water, to the North corporation line,
and the location of an Are Light on said street near the North
corporation line, same was taken under advisement.
The Board receives bill from P.C.C.& st L.Railway Company, dated
Aay 13th, 1908, for City's proportion of Riter-Conley L:anufacturing
CO's bill for ironwork furnished i'or Undergrade Crossing of
Niehmond Livision of P.C.C.& St.L.Rv.,at West Second street,
