The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
met in regular session at the office of said Board on Wednesday
June 17ti;, 19089 at 10 O'Clock A.14, All the members of said Board
being present: Messrs, Staubach, Johnson, and O'Neal.
'Phe following proceedings were had to -wit: -
The Board unanimously adopts Declaratory Resolution No,30-1908,
for the vacation of part of an alley, being first alley North
of Chesnat street running east and west, between west 3rd street
and west 4th street.
A pkltion was received for the vacation of the first alley South
of main street, from second street to first street, same was
referred to Engineer for drawings and. resolution ordered.
A petition was received for the location of an Arc Light at the
Intersection of West 9th street and National Ave, same was taken
under advisement.
A petition was presented for the oiling of National Ave, From
West Second street to West 'Tenth street, same was ordered
placed on file.
A petition was presented for the vacation of a certain street
or hi,,haay, being a northwardly continuation of North 22nd
street, extending from the north8rly right of way line of the
P,C,C.& St L.Railway Company northwardly about 880,feet,oame
was taken under advisement.
A petition was presented for the improvement of the alley
between North loth and North llth streets, from North I street
South to first alley running Fast and West, by grading,
graveling and bouldering, and 3 brick center, same was taken
under advisement.
The Board approves a time extension of an of; with Chas
D,Fetzer, in relation to the refreshment and boat hire
Privilege In Olen Park, as entered into by and between said
Chas D.Fetzer and the City of Richmond through her Board of
Public Works, on the 12th day of November, 1906, said agreement
is extended for the term of three years from the 12th day of
November, 1909, upon the same terms therein specified,
A petition was presented for the improvement of the west side
Of South 12th street, from South F street to South If street,
by constructing cement sidewalk between the Points named,
same was taken under advisement.
The Board approves a Primary asseasment roll in the matter of
the Snnrovement of South 8th strilet, by constructing cement th
side walk (6) Feet in width on both sides thereof, from
