The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the ofrice of said Board on Friday July 3rd, 19089 at 10 O'Clock A.M. All the members of said Board being present: Messrs, Staubach, Johnson, and O'Neal. The following proceedings were had to -wit: - A petition was presented for the location of additional Are Lights at the inter -section of 8th and Main Streets. Same was taken under advisement. The City Civil Enginer reported the completition of the Contract under Improvement Resolution No. 130-1907 providing for the Construction of a Sewer, beginning at Station 23 x 50 on Sheridan Street, to Station 12 x 50 at Alley on west side of North-West 1st Street and known as Route No. 1, The Board accepts the same, with exceptions noted in Engineers report, and orders assessment roll prepared. The board orders Resolution and plans for the opening and extension of an alley, 14 feet in width, between South 4th and South 5th Streets, from South C. Street, South to first alley running East and West. Claims to the amount of $4,075.:P3 were allowed and ordered paid The Board did then adjourn. President of Board. All the membersof said Board being present: Idessrs, Staubach, Johnson, and O'Neal. The following proceedins were had to -wit: - A petition was presented for the location Of Fire Hydrants at the corner of North-West, 1st and Railroad Street and North-west 2nd and Railroad Street. Same was taken under advisement The Board receives aids for the improvement of Main Street, from First Str':et Pest to the East end of the >.!ain Street bridge, as provided i'or by Improvement Resolution No. 146-1908, as followa:- Daniel G. Burkhardt bid 6 foot walk 60 cents per lineal foot. Straight Curb 67 " 16 Oircle Curb 90 it " " the above bid being the only one received and under tiie Engineers estimate, on Motion the Contract was awarded to Daniel 0. Burkhardt. The Board unanimously adopts Declaratory Resolution 110, i2-1908, providing for the opening and laying out of an alley between South 4th and South 5th Streets from South C Street South to first alley running East and West.
