Wednesday July 22nd, 1908.
A petition was presented for the improvement of the alley between
South 5thstreet and South Gth street, from South D street to
South E street, by grading, graveling and bowldering, and
brick center, same was taken under advisement.
The City Civil Engineer reported the completion of the contract
under Improvement Resolution No.142-19081 providing for the
improvement of the alley between Richmond Avenue and Laurel
street and Sheridan and First street, being the first alley East
of first street running North and South, from Laurel street south
to the first alley running East and West, thence Past to first
alley West of Sheridan street, by grading, graveling and
bow1dering, and-3 brick center, the Boa7w=41ceepts the same and orde
assessment roll prepared. ~
The Board instructs the Finance Department to pay Henry Nolte
the 55; oi' contract price, retained for one year, on the following
named improvements, Alley between North 20th and. 21st streets,
from Forth C to North E streets, due July 5th, 1908. Alley
between South 9th and loth streets, from South C street to a point
340 feet South, due July 12th, 1908, said one year having
expired and improvements found to be in good condition.

The Board instructs the Superintendent of the Light Plant to
place Are Lights at the following named points to -wit:-
i North 14th and G streets, North D street between 15th and 16th
streets, National avenue and West 9th street, Commons Road and
West 7th street.
The Board did then adjourn.
