„JA THIS AD ENDIJM, (Number 1 to Contract No. 34-2023) is made and entered into this
//"-- day of , 2023, by and between Richmond, Indiana, a municipal corporation
acting through its BO, 4 of Public Works and Safety with its office at 50 North 5th Street, Richmond,
Indiana, 47374 (hereinafter referred to as "City"), and Perseponko Painting, L.L.C., 3559 Boston
Township Line Road, Richmond, Indiana, 47374 (hereinafter referred to as "Contractor").
WHEREAS, City and Contractor entered into Contract No. 34-2023 on March 8, 2023, which
Agreement retains Contractor to provide services in connection with the cleaning,
preparation, and painting of the two (2) metal eagle symbols and the metal lettering
located on the exterior of the Richmond Municipal Building for the City and the Division
of Public Works and Engineering("Project"); and
WHEREAS, The Parties have agreed that additional exterior cleaning and washing of the second-floor
windows and the two-story glass sections on the east and west side of the City Building
should be performed by Contractor.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises and covenants herein contained, including
the above stated recitals, City and Contractor hereby agree as follows:
1. The City and Contractor executed and entered into Contract No. 34-2023, on March 8,
2023, which Agreement is incorporated herein by reference. Pursuant to Contract No.
34-2023, Section XI (Miscellaneous), the Parties may alter or amend the Agreement in
whole or in part at any time by filing with the Agreement a written instrument setting
forth such changes signed by both Parties. The Parties agree the that Contractor shall
provide services of additional exterior cleaning and washing of the second-floor windows
and the two-story glass sections on the east and west side of the City Building in
accordance with the scope of said Agreement. Said additional services shall be
completed and delivered in a mariner consistent with Contract No. 34-2023, which is
hereby incorporated by reference and made a part hereof, Compensation paid to
Contractor as described in accordance with Section III (Compensation) of said
Agreement for said additional vehicle shall be increased by an amount not to exceed One
Thousand Hundred Dollars and Zero Cents ($1,000.00) as listed in Contractor's
supplemental quote attached hereto as Exhibit A. The new total amount to be paid to
Contractor under the Agreement shall be an amount not to exceed Three Thousand
Seven Hundred Dollars and Zero Cents ($3,700.00) for satisfactory completion of the
Agreement with the additional services and increase in scope as described herein.
2. City and Contractor expressly agree that all other terms, conditions, and covenants
contained in Contract No. 34-2023, shall be applicable to this Addendum, unless such
term, condition or covenant conflicts with this Addendum Number 1, in which case this
Addendum Number 1 shall be controlling.

3. Both Parties hereby agree that with the exception of the additional cleaning services, and
with the exception of the corresponding compensation increase, Contract No. 34-2023
shall remain intact and unchanged and in full force and effect,
4, Both Parties agree that any person executing this Contract in a representative capacity
hereby warrants that he or she has been duly authorized by his or her principal to execute
this Addendum.
