ORDINANCE NO. 28-2023
AN APPROPRIATION (TRANSFER) ORDINANCE
AMENDING THE 2023 BUDGET
'WHEREAS, The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana adopted a budget .for
calendar year 2023 on October 3, 2022, with Ordinance 32-2022-, and
WHEREAS, The Common Council has determined it necessary to transfer money from one
majo budget classification to another within a respective set of departments or
offices; and.
WHEREAS, The transfers do not require the expenditure of more money than the total.
amount set out in the budget as finally determined under Indiana Code 6-1.1-
1.-1. et. seq.; and
WFIEREAS, This transfer may he made under Indiana Code 6-1.1-18-6 without notice and
without the approval of the Department of I„ocal. Government Finance.
NOW, IFIEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of
Richmond, Indiana,that the 2023 budget be amended as follows:

2. Add $ 32,600.00 Contractual Services 1101.9600.301.3990
