Hi Joe – thank you for your email below. Quite frankly, I found the content somewhat
surprising if not shocking.
Based upon the content of your email, I ask that you kindly see the below:
1. I ask that you kindly look at Section 369(4) of the Town Code
2. I ask that you kindly look at Section 369(6)(b) of the Town Code
3. I ask that you kindly look at the lighting on the dock at the home immediately to your
west. Please provide me with your thoughts in that regard.
4. I ask that you kindly look at the lighting on the dock at the Martin home to your west.
Please provide me with your thoughts in that regard.
As far as lighting after 11PM, is that a Code Issue? If so, please provide me with advice on that
regard.

Good Morning Marty,
We hope you and your family are well this holiday season.

As we discussed with your project manager John Dial in person prior to your renovations, the lighting for docks in Gulf
Stream is noted in the town code 66-368 line 6 g. We adhere to the code and expect the same from you. Our 254 feet of
dock has one low voltage dock light set 3 feet off the ground.
Additionally would you kindly turn off your exterior lighting after 11 pm as we do.
