APPROVING RCA FUNDING FOR AFFORDABLE
HOUSING AT 331 -333 PERSHING AVENUE
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret desires to provide additional affordable housing
opportunities with previously existing Regional Contribution Funding ( "RCA funding ");
and
WHEREAS, 331 -333 Pershing Avenue, LLC has proposed to provide qualifying
affordable housing units at 331 -333 Pershing Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the Borough is willing to contribute a total of $75,000.00 in RCA funding
toward the rehabilitation of the affordable housing units; and
WHEREAS, the Borough desires to designate 331 -333 Pershing Avenue, LLC as the
Administrative Agent for the 12 units in the 331 -333 Pershing Avenue Project.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Borough of Carteret as follows:
1. The Borough hereby agrees to contribute $75,000.00 in RCA funding
for the qualifying affordable housing units to be identified as the 331-
333 Pershing Avenue Project.
2. The appropriate Borough Officials are hereby authorized and directed
to take all actions needed to implement the provisions and intent of
this resolution.
3. The Borough hereby endorses 331 -333 Pershing Avenue, LLC's
application(s) for additional affordable housing funding.
4. The Borough hereby designates 331 -333 Pershing Avenue, LLC as the
Administrative Agent for said units in the 331 -333 Pershing Avenue
Project.
