ADDENDUM TO LEASE AGREEMENT
THIS ADDEND JM, (Number 1 to Contract No. 33-2022) is made and entered into this
day of 6. ,2023, by and between Richmond, Indiana,a municipal corporation
acting through its Board- f Public Works and Safety with its office at 50 North 5th Street, Richmond,
Indiana, 47374 (hereinafter referred to as "City" or "Lessee" aka "Tenant"), and CJM Commercial
Properties, LLC, 1200 S 9th, Richmond, IN 47374 (hereinafter referred to as "Lessor").
WHEREAS, City arid Lessor entered into Contract No. 33-2022, which is a Lease Agreement for
the premises located at 1204.5 South 9th Street, on March 4, 2022; and
WHEREAS, Section 5 (Renewal Period) of said Agreement provides that Lessee has an option to
renew the Lease for an additional one-year term upon the same terms, conditions, and
provisions contained within the Lease Agreement; and
WHEREAS, The parties have agreed to extend the termination date set forth in within the terms of
Contract No. 33-2022 to May 31, 2024.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises and covenants herein contained,
including the above stated recitals, City and Lessor hereby agree as follows:
1. The City and Lessor executed and entered into Contract No. 33-2022, March 4, 2022.
Pursuant to Contract No.33-2022, Section 5 (Renewal Period),an option to renew the
Lease Agreement for an additional term of one year with the rental amount increase, is
exercised by the Parties.
2. The Parties agree to alter the Agreement to extend the termination date to and until
May 31, 2024, in order that the Lease Agreement shall be continued to be performed
in a manner consistent with Contract No. 33-2022, which is hereby incorporated by
reference and made a part hereof.
3. City and Lessor expressly agree that all other terms, conditions, and covenants
contained in Contract No. 33-2022 and Lease Agreement shall he applicable to the
extension of said Lease Agreement and the corresponding rental amount increase
pursuant to this Addendum, unless such term, condition or covenant conflicts with this
Addendum Number 1, in which case this Addendum Number 1 shall be controlling.

4. Both parties hereby agree that Contract No. 33-2022 and Lease Agreement shall
otherwise remain intact and unchanged and in full force and effect.
5. Both parties agree that any person executing this Addendum to the Lease Agreement
in a representative capacity hereby warrants that he or she has been duly authorized by
his or her principal to execute this Addendum.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, this Addendum to the Lease Ag,reement is e_xe9uted and approved
