There is no discussion, other than suggestions by Anthony, about switching from Delray to Boynton water. He was not happy with Delray when they told him that Gulf Stream had to replace the back flow preventer where the water comes into town from Delray. We are planning on replacing our water meters with new digital meters in the near future. They can be read electronically with a wand while driving by the meter in a truck. Anthony spent an hour here with him Monday afternoon. I was not home. He tested either 3 or 4 of our working hoses and the pressure was between 52-54 lbs. My neighbor Mr Martin's pressure was so low his plumber pointed it out to him. Scott Carmillani has one of his irrigation systems that is not going on. He also told me if someone is taking a shower his pressure is down to a trickle. The Toscani's also said their irrigation was not all popping on either. I really don't want to go on a wild goose chase. I've already spent 3 1/2 hours of AquaTerra's time. I understand new digital meters are being installed in 2 months or so? Also the town is looking to buy water from Boyton Beach rather than Delray. There has to be a reason for these changes. Also Anthony told my husband at least 4 other residents were having the same issue as us. He also mentioned a meeting today to discuss these issues. In light of this information it seems like a systemic issue rather than something specific to our home. We had to water by hand today. Luckily heavy rains are coming tonight and cooler weather for 2 days. That will take the stress off our landscaping. AquaTerra did a very thorough check up of our irrigation system and found no issues. I will clean the filters on my kitchen faucet and see if there is any significant sediment. I'll find out if 52 libs is enough to activate our system. We've lived here 11 years and have never had a problem before. Thank you, 1 Jennifer On Thu, Apr 1, 2021 at 1:27 PM Gregory Dunham <gdunham@gulf-stream.org> wrote: Mrs. Morris, I would like Anthony to meet at your house while AquaTerra is there to run the system. Anthony told me that Delray beach is providing 55 pounds of pressure into the town from their plant. Anthony ran a pressure test at your home that showed 54 pounds of pressure at your house. Anthony will not be able to meet until Monday. What time is good for you? Two of my neighbors are having the same problem. I had AquaTerra , our irrigation company here for 3 hours on Monday morning and they found no issues nor leaks on our property. Joe and I had both noticed weaker water pressure in our house as well over the past week or so not realizing the correlation. I called the town and was referred to Anthony. My husband and I had two conversations with him and he did stop by for an hour or so on Monday afternoon and he found no issues with our meter. Our plants are really stressed. This morning I have our landscape crew watering by hand as much as they can reach with our hoses. 2 Thank you fo any help!
