A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD TO RECEIVE
AND FILE THE LIST OF CONSULTING FIRMS WHO RESPONDED TO THE CITY'S
REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATION FOR ON -CALL SERVICES FOR STREET
IMPROVEMENT DESIGN AND FUTURE CITY STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS
WHEREAS, on November 18, 2014 City Council authorized staff to send out a
request for Statement of Qualification (SOQ) for engineering consulting services; and
WHEREAS, on November 20, 2014 staff advertised the request for SOQ for on-
call engineering consulting services in the Lynwood Press and IMS; a leading
professional Design publication; and
WHEREAS, the City has received ten SOQs and staff has compiled a list of the
professional consultants who responded to the request, as follows:

WHEREAS, the Public Works Department will review the qualification of each
consulting firm and will provide the City Council with a recommendation for the most
qualified firms on the first City Council meeting of January 2015.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Lynwood City Council receive and file the list of consulting
firms until a selection is made on January 6, 2015. The City reserves the right to
terminate the list of firms, in whole or in part, at any time.
Section 2. That this Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 16th day of December, 2014.
