AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING ADDITIONAL
APPROPRIATIONS TO AND REDUCTIONS FROM CERTAIN FUNDS
WHEREAS, Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana adopted a budget for calendar year 2005 on September 30, 2004 (Ordinance No. 64-2004); and
WHEREAS, it has been determined it is now necessary to appropriate additional sums
of money to certain funds and to reduce other funds; and
WHEREAS, it has been shown that certain existing appropriations now have unobligated
balances that will not be needed for the purposes for which appropriated,
thus allowing the aforementioned reductions.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, that the following appropriations and/or reductions are hereby approved for the funds as indicated:
1. Reduction in General Fund – Human Resources $20,000.00
2 Increase in General Fund – Finance $20,000.00
Reduction in Park and Recreation $30,000.00
Reduction in Motor Vehicle Highway $30,000.00
Increase in General Fund – Fire Dept. $60,000.00
