Council Members,
The Richmond Historical Preservation Committee desires to submit a grant application to assist
with the cost associated with the plan to operate six (6) Historical Preservation Workshops.
The workshops will be held at the William G. Scott House one Saturday out of the month over
the course of six (6) months beginning in November 2023. These workshops will be led by
Earlham Professor of History Thomas Hamm, Morrison -Reeves Library Archivist Sue King, and
owner and operator of Architectural Restoration Techniques Scott Bartel.
The total grant request is $3,000 and local $3,000. The local match will be paid using
Infrastructure and Development funds.
