HomeMy Public PortalAbout090-2005 - 2006 Budget Amendment - Civilian Salaries - Law & Transportation (Ord No 51-2005)AMENDED ORDINANCE NO. 90-2005 AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 51-2005 KNOWN AS THE 2006 SALARY ORDINANCE WHEREAS, WHEREAS, WHEREAS, NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana that the following positions be compensated not in excess of the respective sums hereafter set forth during the calendar year 2006, to wit: Department of Law Assistant City Attorney (new in 2005) Department of Public Works and Engineering Transit Bus Driver (17) Transit Bus Driver (17) TEMPORARY AND PART-TIME In addition to the positions set forth above, the Mayor and the City Department Heads may, as needed, hire and compensate part-time or temporary employees as permitted by their respective budgets. Compensation for these positions may range from $5.15 to $15.00 per hour. ADDITIONAL COMPENSATION In addition to the salaries set forth above, all of the employees, excluding members of the Board of Works, the Aviation Board and the Park and Recreation Board, shall be entitled to additional compensation, such as, overtime, compensation time, etc., and those same fringe benefits as set forth within the City of Richmond Personnel Policy or as stated in negotiated contracts.
