The regula meeting of Council was held tto -day at 4 :00 p.m and was
attended by the Maytr,who presid'ei,and Councilmen Horovitz,Logan,
ill Espy and Walthour.
Mrs.E.J. Bergman has requested that a light be placed at Estill Ave.
and McKenzie street,Mr. NalYhour suggested.that the.mai_ ter be in-
vestigated and if conch ions- Warranted it that a light be placed there
Mr. Logan was appointed a committee to see if a light was needed
there.

Mr.: spy informed Council that Mrs. Adelite Graham was promised that
Third street would be opened for, her and the work has not been started
yet so it, was decided to open this street at once.
ie0rdinance regulating the parking of automobiles on certain streets
came up and on motion of Mr.,Espy that it be adopted, seconded Mr.'dralthour
it was placed on second: reading and passed unanmously.
ORDINANCE.
, An to be entitled A An Ordinance to control and
regulate trarfio in ,the Tpwn of Tybee by designating certain park -
ing space and establishing reules for the use thereon; to provide
,punishment for any violation and for other purposes:
SECTION 1 -. BE IT `ORDAIIL D BY THE MAYOR AND COUIVTCIL]1EN
of Savannah Beach,Tybee Island,in Council assembled that from and
after the passage of this Ordinance the southern rid nptthern fifteen
fLet, respectively of 14th,l5th,l6th and 17th streets in said Town,
between thenstrand and the railroad are hereby designated as parking
space; alsd the southern and northern fifteen feet,respetively,of
15th aad. 16th ,streets in std Town between Butler Avenue and 3rd
Avenue are designated as parking space.
. ;SECTION ' 2 - BE IT FURTHER ORDAIiED by the ai thority
aforesaid that all vehicles of any and every kind and character
using said parking spaces,shall be _)arked a-Lan angle of 45 degrees
with the northern and southern lines of said Streets,res-ectively
and within the space herein designated as parking space. In the
use of the northern strip of the said above described Strees,the
ahg1e of 45 degreesshall be made by the vehicle being parked !; to-
wards the northeast and in the use or the southern strip of said
above described Streets, the angle of 45 degrees shall he made by
the vehicle parked towards thesoutheast.
SECTION 3 - BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED by the authority
aforesaidthat any driver of any vehicle violating the'terms of
this Ordinance shall be,upon conviction in Police Court of se.id
Town,be,fined in a sum of no more than 100.00 or imprisoned
for a period of not more than thirty days either or both,or any
portion ofeither or both in the discretion of said Police Court
of said ToWn for each and every violation hereof.
SECTION 4 BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED by the authority
aforesaid that all ordinances and parts of ogdinances in conflict
hereof be and the same are hereby repealed.
