APPROPRIATING FUNDS FROM CDBG FOR
VFW ADA COMPLIANCE AND REHABILITATION
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret received funds from the Community Development
Block Grant Program administered by the County of Middlesex, and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council desire to utilize a portion of the Community
Development Block Grant funds towards the improvements and upgrades including ADA
compliance and Rehabilitation of the VFW site located at 289 Pershing Avenue, Carteret,
NJ.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough
of Carteret that the Chief Finance Officer is hereby authorized to disburse $50,000 made
payable to the Carteret VFW for the purposes herein described.
