RE: Ordinance #4-2024 — An Appropriation Ordinance Authorizing the Submittal, Acceptance,
And Appropriation Of Grants From The Indiana Department of Transportation
Community Crossings Matching Grant Program — CCMG 2024-1
The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) is accepting applications for State
Funds to assist in Local Street paving projects. The State of Indiana will contribute up to
50% of the cost. There are 12 Streets that are identified in Exhibit "A" of the Ordinance.
The total estimated cost to mill and pave 12 streets is $640,OS1.89. The Cities 50%
local match will come from Motor Vehicle Highway Funds and Redevelopment Funds.
The Grant Application deadline is January 31, 2024.
