ORDINANCE NO. 9-2024
AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING
THE CITY OF RICHMOND TO RECEIVE DONATIONS
WHEREAS, The City of Richmond, Indiana, has the option of accepting or rejecting donations for a
specific purpose; and
WHEREAS, The acceptance of a donation for a specific purpose constitutes the appropriation of such
property for the intended purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
that all donations received by the Parks Department during the calendar year 2024 for the following
Richmond Parks and Recreation Department programs and uses to be held in 2024 shall be accepted and
gratefully acknowledged by the citizens of Richmond:
1. Bandshell 17. Produce RX
2. Celebration of Lights 18. JUKO
3. Clear Creek 19, Mary Scott Park
4. Community Sports & Rec. 20, Middlefork
5. CSX/Depot 21. Outdoor Movie Series
6. Dog Park 22. Pickle Ball
7. Egg Hunt 23, Playground
8. Elstro Plaza 24. Repair and Improvement Fund
9. Farmer's Market 25. Riverside Trail/NRHT
10. First Tee Program 26. RSCC/Senior Center
11. Freeman Park 27. Skate Park
12. Fright Night/Halloween Howl 28. Special Events Misc.
13. Frostbite 29. Springwood
14. Greenhouse 30. Summer Concert Series
15. Gorge 31. Veterans Park
16. Highland Lake Golf Course 32. WPS Donations
