THIS ADDENDUM, (Number 1 to Contract No. 18-2023) is made and entered into this
c)4''' day of (Ylok_rch , 2024, by and between Richmond, Indiana, a municipal
corporation acting through its Board of Public Works and Safety with its office at 50 North 5'h
Street, Richmond, Indiana, 47374 (hereinafter referred to as "City"), and Pardo's Service, Inc.,
2147 US Highway 35 North, Richmond, Indiana, 47375 (hereinafter referred to as "Contractor").
WHEREAS, City and Contractor entered into Contract No. 18-2023 on April 1, 2023, which
Agreement retains Contractor to provide the vehicle impound and storage area for
the City of Richmond, Indiana; and
WHEREAS, The Parties have agreed to exercise the Option to Renew said Agreement to be
effective as of April 1, 2024 through midnight, March 31, 2026.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises and covenants herein contained,
including the above stated recitals, City and Contractor hereby agree as follows:
The City and Contractor executed and entered into Contract No. 18-2023, on
April 1, 2023, which Agreement is incorporated herein by reference. The Parties
agree to exercising the Option to Renew said Agreement to be effective as of
April 1, 2024, through midnight, March 31, 2026, in light of certain negotiations
by the parties and in light of Section XIII (Miscellaneous) of said Agreement
which permits the Agreement to be altered in part by filing a written instniment
setting forth such changes signed by both parties. Said services and terms shall be
completed in a manner consistent with Contract No. 1.8-2023.
2. City and Contractor expressly agree that all other terms, conditions, and
covenants contained in Contract No. 18-2023, shall be applicable to this
Addendum, unless such term, condition or covenant conflicts with this Addendum
Number 1, in which case this Addendum Number 1 shall be controlling.

3. Both Parties hereby agree that with the exception of the Option to Renew to
extend the Agreement to be effective as of April 1, 2023, through midnight,
March 31, 2026, Contract No. 18-2023 shall remain intact and unchanged and in
full force and effect.
4. Both Parties agree that any person executing this Contract in a representative
capacity hereby warrants that he or she has been duly authorized by his or her
principal to execute this Addendum.
