Downtown is a place where a person can buy a greeting card or a house. All of these are employers…..maybe individually they aren’t large employers, but they add up quickly. Not just a single-use center: The sign also provides examples; retail, service, professional, residential. And don’t forget government, banking, education…. Historic Walkable Clean and safe 11 Walkable….you can get to dozens of places without getting in and out of a car. Clean and safe……you’re walking on sidewalks that are kept clean and you don’t have to fear for your safety while you’re walking. Historic…….look around and you see plenty of marvelous old structures built by past generations. Looks good and healthy Center of community 12 Downtown looks good and healthy……..
